  So delicious! Our favorite restaurant in the area. Everything is super flavorful and big portions. Service is great and fast we have not needed a reservation.

  I've started eating it other Chinese restaurants and there's this place in Red Bluff across the parking lot from Food Maxx and it's called the Maple Gardens I've only eaten there twice and I must tell you for a place that's primarily take out nothing served on regular plates or glasses they have incredible food but I wanted to be fair so I went back to the peacock 3 days later and I had my normal Meal which which I will not say here in case one of the owner sees it and I get crappy food next time well actually that doesn't matter because I doubt very seriously if I'll be returning to the peacock either way the food is become Bland soggy and greasy and the only time that it's crispy or good is around the 1st and 15th of the month when people get paid the staff is nice enough but they're no longer the authentic Chinese restaurant experience it's just Asian food served by Latinos which take that for however you want I'm just describing the environment and the atmosphere by the way you get what you pay for you pay $13 at the peacock you got a plate full of grease you get a lot of it but it's still a plate full of grease you pay $11 at the Maple Gardens you get enough food to eat that's good clean crispy and nutritious and you can even take some home and they sell egg rolls in the 2 4 and 6 Eggroll order where's the peacock only sells them at 6 and the peacocks egg rolls are not that good anymore in fact they're really greasy I don't think that I would recommend this restaurant do any family that wants to have a good meal or to any couple enjoying a romantic dinner this is more or less a I don't have time for a good meal but I need lunch restaurant.   We have wanted to try this restaurant since our favorite restaurant in Redding closed.
  Sorry we tried it!
  No flavor, bland, chow fun, noodles cooked to to long, mushy!
  Sweet and sour pork, grease they cooked the pork in, bad, old, they need to change the grease more.
  They need to learn to add more seasoning!
  Probably will not eat there again.

  Well, let's see. Portions were big; prices a bit high for the less than average quality food. This Chinese food is not very authentic and the pieces of chicken in my snow pea chicken were a bit suspect. I couldn't determine from what part of the chicken they came. In fairness, I think most Chinese restaurants in small towns don't make real Chinese food. They likely have to change it to suit a different palate. I won't be back. Just not tasty, nor of good quality. Service was good.
